PT MONDAY (Full Day)
This walk starts in Sítio das Quatro Estradas, at a height of 700m and follows Madeira’s 2nd longest water canal, the Levada da Serra do Faial. Along 8 kms we can appreciate a combination of both native flora and exotic vegetation (eucalyptus and Japanese cedars) and listen to the local birds.
On the last 2 kms we walk down towards Lombo das Faias, passing the Lamaceiros Forestry House and ending up at 640 m.
This is a moderate walk, and the descent can be slippery when wet, good walking footwear and rain gear are recommended.

If required a babyseat / boosterseat there’s a non-commissionable extra charge of 3€, per seat. Must be requested upon the reservation.

If the child in under 12 years old and does not have 135 centimeters in height, please let us know (in the comment section) as by Portuguese law it requires a babyseat / booster seat.
